Get to Know Dr. Luke Gordon – Doctor of Physical Therapy in Spokane Valley, WA
Luke was born and raised in Spokane Valley, where he attended West Valley High School. After graduating in 2001, he traveled to Washington State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy. Luke then returned home to Spokane and spent the next 3 years earning his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University. He then joined his father, Robert, at Center for Physical & Sports Therapy, which was renamed Gordon Physical Therapy in 2014. His PT interests include helping clients with low back pain, sciatica, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, and balance-related issues. How to Heal a Bulging Disc! (Back Pain & Sciatica)
In a recent video, I explained how to figure out if the bulging disc(s) can be healed without requiring injections or surgery.
The good news is is that the majority of bulging discs CAN be healed naturally!

“Can disc bulges be healed?” – Back Pain & Sciatica
If you have a bulging disc in your lower back (aka your “lumbar spine”), and it’s causing sciatic nerve pain, a great question to start with is “can you heal your bulging disc”?
After all, if you can’t heal your bulging disc and relieve your sciatic nerve pain, you’ll want to act quickly to see if something more invasive is needed (like injections or surgery).
I have good news for you: most disc bulges CAN be healed.
