Physical Therapists

At Gordon Physical Therapy, all of our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants are fully licensed and extensively trained. You will always receive therapy from a licensed therapist, and never from a “therapy aide” or “therapy tech”.

Our team includes 9 Physical Therapists (PTs) and 3 Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). Together, our therapists create a diverse and experienced team with a wide variety of specialties. Check out their biographies below:

Luke Gordon, DPT

Luke Gordon, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Owner

Luke was born and raised in Spokane Valley, where he attended West Valley High School. After graduating in 2001, he travelled to Washington State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy. Luke then returned home to Spokane and spent the next 3 years earning his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University. He then joined his father, Robert, at Center for Physical & Sports Therapy, which was renamed Gordon Physical Therapy in 2014. His PT interests include working with clients with low back pain, orthopedic injuries, and balance-related issues. Luke also has special training in helping clients with vertigo (the sensation of spinning or movement), and he favors a “hands on” approach to helping clients with pain relief (vs. trying to exercise through pain).

Luke has been married to his wife, Claire, since 2007. The couple welcomed the arrival of their son, Julian Delphino, in July of 2011 and they added Viola Maxine to the family in September 2014! In their spare time, Luke and Claire enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding, gardening and spending time at home with their family. Luke is an avid basketball player, and he is very passionate about food and its ability to heal the body. Feel free to contact him if you’re ever in need of any amazing Paleo recipes!

Leandro Bastos, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Leandro is our “international physical therapist”, as he was born and raised in the “marvelous city” of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Leandro attended California State University Long Beach for his undergraduate education, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science). Prior to attending Cal State for PT school, he became a personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, so it only made sense for him to keep climbing the “health and fitness ladder” and pursue becoming a Physical Therapist. He was accepted into the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California for PT school.

Leandro’s favorite leisure activities include playing soccer, snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, yoga, and exercising. Joseph Quinn, PTA

Joseph Quinn, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Joe was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he had a world of experiences. His extensive background in injuries would eventually lead him into physical therapy. At the young age of 7 he slipped off the swings of the next door neighbor swing-set which sent him flying to his first major “cast” with two broken wrists. Over the next few years he followed that up with many fractures & stitches throughout his ankles, legs and arms. During highschool years he plummeted more than 50ft from a cliff  while rock climbing, to break another arm, fracture some ribs and chip a bone off his foot “what an adventure”. That’s not all folks, he then started driving. Joseph was the target of many accidents. To name a few; he was hit head on by a drunk driver in July 1999, and again hit head on in January 2000. T-Boned by a motorcycle in 2005 and slammed into by a Semi in 2007 (for other info on accidents, just ask). He has spent many hours in PT and chiropractic clinics throughout those years.

Joe moved from Las Vegas, NV to Buffalo, NY in 2010 where he worked as a Patient Care Assistant for a local hospital there. He worked full time, and went to school part time for 5 years while supporting his Wife and 4 children. He graduated from Villa Maria College as a Physical Therapist Assistant in May 2016 and then moved to Pullman, WA to begin his PTA career in a Skilled Nursing facility. Joseph hired on with Gordon PT in March 2017, and is excited to learn many different techniques in the PT world, which best help him to help his patients recover from their experiences. When he’s not being injured, he enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and playing games with his wife and four children!
