If yes, then you’ve come to the Right Place!
Some of the common problems we help people with are:
Sciatica Pain
Shoulder Pain
Back Pain
Knee Pain
Neck Pain
When you’re in pain it’s tempting to think, “it’ll go away if I just rest” or to simply ignore the problem altogether.
Unfortunately, the problem too often festers and slowly becomes worse. Before you know it, your pain has begun to impact your lifestyle and disrupt your happiness.
Physical therapy (when done properly) not only gets rid of your pain but also finds the root cause so your pain STAYS AWAY and you can get back to your active lifestyle.
We know you’re skeptical. You’ve likely been to other healthcare practitioners in the past and nothing they’ve done has helped you or your problems.
“Before coming to Gordon Physical Therapy I was having a lot of lower back pain, trouble sitting and standing on my own, bending over even laying down. After working with the awesome staff at Gordon Physical Therapy I was able to do all the things that used to give me pain, pain free! The staff is very professional and fun to work with and really love what they do! ”
“I came in after a shoulder dislocation. Danielle and Melinda were great to work with. Always fun to work with, They helped stabilize my shoulder through muscle strengthening. I now feel stronger and confident that my shoulder won’t dislocate again. All the staff at Gordon have been wonderful to work with and always make me feel comfortable and at home. Thank you all!!”

Meet Our Amazing Team

Luke was born and raised in Spokane Valley, where he attended West Valley High School. After graduating in 2001, he travelled to Washington State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy. Luke then returned home to Spokane and spent the next 3 years earning his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University. He then joined his father, Robert, at Center for Physical & Sports Therapy, which was renamed Gordon Physical Therapy in 2014. His PT interests include working with clients with low back pain, orthopedic injuries, and balance-related issues. Luke also has special training in helping clients with vertigo (the sensation of spinning or movement), and he favors a “hands on” approach to helping clients with pain relief (vs. trying to exercise through pain).

Frequently Asked Questions About Finding The Right Physical Therapy Clinic In Spokane Valley, Washington
What actually is Physical Therapy?
Physical Therapists are movement experts. Physical Therapy is a proven strategy for easing the worries and concerns of people suffering from aches, pain, and stiffness. It helps you move freely again and live an active and healthy lifestyle.
What do I need to wear to physical therapy?
For physical therapy, it is important to be able to look at the problem area. Please wear or bring with you a pair of loose comfortable shorts. Female patients are recommended to bring a sleeveless shirt, tank top, or swimsuit top.
Your physical therapist will always aim to remove as little clothing as possible and we will never ask that you remove an item of clothing that may completely expose a large area of your body.
Occasionally patients will ask us if it would be easier or more convenient for us to provide treatment if an item can be removed completely. You are free to make this decision.
Who are the Physical Therapists at Gordon Physical Therapy?
You can learn a little more about our Physical Therapists at our Spokane Valley, Washington clinic and what they look like via the “Meet The Team” page on our website.
Will you do anything at the first session to help my pain?
Yes. It’s always our intention to start making progress on any pain, problem, and/or stiffness you may have, as well as ease other concerns and frustrations.
Will I receive any tips or exercises that I can be doing at home to help myself get better quicker?
Absolutely. The goal is to help you in every way that we can. Primarily, we’ll do everything with you, but you’re only with us for a certain amount of time, so we aim to “arm” you with tips, hints, exercises, and tools that you can use on your own time and feel better, faster.
Can I get a cost estimate?
If you do not have health insurance or plan to self-pay for our services, we will provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of our costs when you schedule at least 3 days in advance. If you would like to request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling, please call our office at (850) 810-4815.
