3 Best Stretches to Improve Knee Flexion (Total Knee Replacement Surgery)
Feb. 18, 2022
If you recently had total knee replacement (TKR) surgery, one of your first priorities should be achieving full range of motion (ROM) in your knee.
Essentially, this means that you want your knee to fully bend (up to about 135 degree) and fully straighten, as soon as possible.
In this video, I’ll show you my favorite three stretches to help you bend your knee.
In the PT world, we call bending your knee “knee flexion”.
Whether you work on all three stretches or just pick your favorite one is up to you. All three of them work!
I hope this video helps you improve your knee flexion after total knee surgery with as little pain as possible.
