Alzheimer’s Disease – 12 “Risk Factors” You Can Improve!

***This is the 3rd video in this series about how to treat Alzheimer’s Disease naturally and even reverse the disease process (based on the book “Reversing Alzheimer’s” by Dr. Heather Sandison.
In this video, I’ll share 12 “modifiable risk factors” that you can improve to help you AVOID dementia and cognitive decline, which are hallmark symptoms for people with Alzheimer’s Disease.
This list is based on a paper published in “The Lancet” in 2020.
If you’re looking to improve your mental cognition and delay or REVERSE dementia, this is a great place to start!
Here’s a quick rundown of the 12 risk factors:
- Less education
- Hearing Loss
- Traumatic brain injury
- Hypertension
- Weight
- Excessive alcohol consumption
- Physical inactivity
- Depression
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Smoking
- Air pollution
- Social isolation
As you’re going through the 12 risk factors, I recommend targeting 1-2 that you think you can positively influence right away without overwhelming yourself.
