Before I give you the link to the article, let me just say a few things…
Depending on how well you already know me, I’m kind of an earthy sort of fellow.
Currently, I’ve got a nice “man-bun” going, and I’m quite fond of going barefoot, especially when I’m working in the garden.
So when the reporter from the Spokesman called me and asked for my opinions of flip-flops, of course I had to give my 2 cents!
So here they are:
- First of all, I love flip-flops! Especially Sanuk’s, which are the softest ones I’ve found. And the best part about them: I can kick them off and go barefoot in my grass and the dirt!
- Can flip-flops be bad for foot pain? Sure, if you’re having foot and ankle issues, you might benefit from additonal support, especially arch support. But I prefer the “don’t fix it if it isn’t broken” approach. So please feel free to enjoy flip-flops otherwise.
There you go, those are my entire 2 cents. Let’s not overthink wearing flip-flops.
If your feet are comfortable and you like wearing them, go for it!
And if your feet hurt and you need some help, then give us a call!
