This is the 3rd blog/video in this series about SIJ pain.
The first 2 videos included the self-test for SIJ pain (under the “Top 3 Causes of Back Pain & Sciatica” blog), and the 3-step treatment approach to SIJ Pain.
If you’ve already checked out those first 2 topics, and you’d like some info on how to treat your SIJ pain, this is a great place to start!
However, and quick word of advice about treating SIJ pain: it can be very tricky to do on your own!
I say this because SIJ pain usually involves a misalignment of your SI joints.
Our therapists at Gordon PT are very good at diagnosing the direction of the SIJ misalignment, which determines which exercises and techniques you use to treat it.
Without knowing the nature of the SIJ alignment, it can be very difficult to treat on your own…so just keep that in mind as you check out the video.
And if you have any specific questions about how to eliminate SIJ pain once and for good, please don’t hesitate to send me an email at Luke@GordonPhysicalTherapy.com
Thanks! – Luke Gordon, DPT
